<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable fault detector in a motor controller for a vehicle which detects the fault of a relay exactly and reduces the fault. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by being equipped with a motor operation stopping means which stops a motor before the motor controller for a vehicle starts the control of the motor, and a relay switching control means which switches on or switches off the relay for power source two or more times and cleans the pollution adhering to the contact of the relay for power source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
