A method of making fondant sweets includes making bodies of milk fondant paste and a coating for coating the bodies. While making the bodies, the milk fondant paste is supplemented with sugar fondant paste. In doing so the milk fondant paste is the outer layer of the body and the sugar fondant paste is the inner layer of the body.
