ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVELOPER, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING THEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an invisible image in an arbitrary region regardless of a visible image region without impairing the sharpness of a visible image formed together with the invisible image. SOLUTION: The volume average particle size of an IR absorption material of the electrophotographic toner containing the IR absorption material is≤100 nm and the volume average grain size distribution SDv thereof is≤1.4. The IR absorption material is obtained by a laser abrasion process of dispersing the particles thereof into a solution and micronizing the particles by irradiation with a laser.
