PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal agent capable of preventing/treating lifestyle-related diseases (obesity) by investing BMAL1 expression control mechanism in a lipid cell differentiation process, clarifying a role in lipid cell differentiation of BMAL1 and inhibiting BMAL1 controlling a lipid metabolism. SOLUTION: The agent for improving lipid metabolism has a protein BMAL1 having a control function of a fatty acid metabolism gene and inhibiting action of the BMAL1.
