<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable writing implement equipped with an anti-drying unit for safely protecting the tip, wherein the tip can be projected outside and retracted inside by non-contact extension motion with keeping the peripheral part of the tip airtight. <P>SOLUTION: The retractable writing implement comprises a knocking body 30 inserted in a rear end opening 14 of a barrel 10, a cartridge 40 installed inside the barrel 10, a first spring 60 and a second spring 65 axially pressing the cartridge 40 by an elastic force, a link holder 70 fitted onto a tip extension part 45 of the cartridge 40 so as to be pressed to a tip opening 11 of the barrel 10 with a first spring 60, a link 80 slid into the link holder 70 so as to be pressed in the top opening 11 of the shaft cylinder 10 with a second spring 65 and provided with a link projection 80 fitted into a cartridge guide groove 46 in the cartridge 40, and a ball-like door 90 movably connected with the link 80 with a parallel pin 82 of the link 80 fitted in a pin groove 92. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
