SHIELDED CABLE AND ITS TERMINAL FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielded cable and its terminal forming method for maintaining an electric insulation property even when its external conductor is directly fused and cut with a laser without adding a heat-resistant covering layer to the inside of the conductor and fixing the conductor with a solder material.

SOLUTION: A shielded cable 1 sequentially and coaxially forms an inner insulator 3, an external conductor 4 and an overcoat 5 on an outer circumference of an inner conductor 2. The insulator 3 is made of fluorine resin and used by being added and colored by carbon black of 0.025 wt% to 0.14 wt%. It is preferable to use for the resin a copolymer of perfluoroalkylvinyl ether tetrafluoride and a covering thickness of the insulator 3 is to be≤55μm. A connection terminal is formed by exposing the conductor 4 by peeling up a prescribed length of the overcoat 5 of an edge part of the cable 1 and exposing the insulator 3 by giving a cutting to the conductor 4 with a YAG laser to peel it up.
