PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoaxially drawn biodegradable flat yarn which has good slipperiness, excellent productivity, and excellent cutting resistance, and can thermally be fused, to provide a biodegradable fabric-like article obtained from the biodegradable flat yarns, and to provide a biodegradable sheet. SOLUTION: This biodegradable flat yarn is characterized by comprising a laminate of a monoaxially drawn base layer comprising a biodegradable aliphatic polyester with a surface layer comprising a biodegradable aliphatic polyester having a lower melting point by≥10°C than the melting point of the biodegradable aliphatic polyester of the base layer and/or an amorphous biodegradable aliphatic polyester not having a melting point.
