The method for antibacterial treatment in the generalized purulent peritonitis provides for parenteral administration of antibacterial drugs. Postoperatively, the retroperitoneal fat of the paranephral spaces is catheterized with the aid of microirrigator supplying the drug mixture in the electrolyte solvent. In addition, the electrophoresis is performed with active electrodes placed in the projection of the retroperitoneal fat of the paranephral spaces and passive one placed in the anterior abdominal wall in the projection of the root of mesentery and transverse mesocolon.
