摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a magnetic recording layer from peeling off, cracking, and fading colors, and avoid blocking between the magnetic recording layer and a thermal transfer receiving layer, and further improve the water resistance of the magnetic recording layer. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a heat transfer magnetic recording sheet forms on the surface of a base sheet a magnetic recording layer containing water dispersion polyester resin having a glass transition temperature of 40-70&deg;C at a ratio of 2-5 points against 10 points of a ferromagnetic material. On the other side of the base sheet, it forms a heat transfer receiving layer comprising polyester based urethane resin containing amorphous silica and a sulfone group and whose softening temperature is 130-140&deg;C and whose lowest filming temperature is 0&deg;C or lower, resin containing ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid whose minimum film forming temperature is 100-110&deg;C, and resin containing alkali metal salt of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid whose minimum film forming temperature is 70-90&deg;C.
