PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing lamp device capable of repeating lighting and flickering in a short time, capable of obtaining required illuminance with a small number of lamps, and capable of obtaining white light suitable for fishing and high light emitting efficiency by filling plural kinds of metal together with an xenon gas. SOLUTION: In this fishing lamp device wherein power generated in a generator 11 lights a fishing lamp 14 composing a discharge lamp 30 through the main body side circuit 12 of a ballast and an instantly re-lighting circuit 13 having a high voltage pulse generating circuit 27, the discharge lamp 30 is a long arc type discharge lamp in which plural kinds of metal is filled in a lamp body 31 made of a hard glass and formed into a slender cylindrical shape together with the xenon gas, and an electrode part 35(36) for triggering which is connected to the high voltage pulse generating circuit 27 to compose an electrostatic coupling is provided in the peripheral part of the lamp body 31.
