PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment apparatus which promotes permeation of a chemical agent into hairs or makes the chemical agent permeating into the hairs be retained reliably. SOLUTION: The hair treatment apparatus is constituted by electrically connecting a glove part 1, which becomes a positive or negative electrode by making contact with hairs and shows excellent electrical isolation to the hand on which the glove is worn, and a contact part 2 which makes contact with the body of a person having the hairs treated and becomes an electrode opposite to the electrode described above through a direct-current power supply 3. Thus, the permeation of the chemical agent into the hairs is promoted, or a chemical solution permeating into the hairs is reliably retained in the hairs by wearing the glove part on the hand, by touching the hairs with the hand on which the glove part is worn, and by applying a negative or positive voltage to the hairs through contacting the body of the person having the hairs treated with the contact part.
