A method for drying paper sheet consists in formation of paper sheet and its drying in contact way through formation of heat carrier flow in during mechanism of drum type. The flow of heat carrier is formed by means of convective dryer with temperature of 80...420 DEGREE C at inlet, and 180...220 DEGREE C at outlet, this is supplied to the both compartments of the exhaust heat conduit simultaneously with separation of the flow at inlet to flows with volume 55-65 %, this is directed to one compartment, and with volume 45-35 %, - to the other one.
