摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium, which has favorable recording characteristics and storage reliability even under high-speed recording, which is 3-10 times, especially 8 times as fast as the recording speed of DVD, and, at the same time, the initialization of the recording material of which is easy and the reflectance distribution after the initialization of the recording material of which is uniform. <P>SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium is formed by laminating a first protective layer, a recording layer, a second protective layer and a reflecting layer on a board in either the order or the reverse order named. The recording layer includes X<SP>1</SP>-Sb-X<SP>2</SP>-Sn, wherein X<SP>1</SP>expresses at least one kind of elements selected from the group consisting of Ga, Ge and In and X<SP>2</SP>expresses at least one kind of elements selected from the group consisting of Au, Ag and Cu. As preferable modes, the total contents of X<SP>1</SP>is not more than 20 atom%, the total contents of X<SP>2</SP>is not more than 10 atom%, the content of Sn is not more than 40 atom% or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
