METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS FIBER-REINFORCED DICYCLOPENTADIENE RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a glass fiber-reinforced dicyclopentadiene resin molded article having a sufficient flexural modulus. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the glass fiber-reinforced dicyclopentadiene resin molded article, a first raw material solution containing dicyclopentadiene and a catalyst and a second raw material solution containing dicyclopentadiene and a cocatalyst are injected into a mold while allowing them to react, and then hardened. The first raw material solution and/or the second raw material solution further contains flat glass fiber filaments, the total weight of the flat glass fiber filaments being≥20 wt.% of the total weight of the first raw material solution and the second raw material solution.
