CLEAR-COATED STAINLESS STEEL SHEET EXCELLENT IN FILM COATING ADHESION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear-coated stainless steel sheet having both excellent film coating adhesion of a thermoplastic resin film coating and excellent scratch resistance of a thermosetting resin. SOLUTION: An original coating plate of a stainless steel plate is overlaid with a thermosetting clear film coating through a thermoplastic primer film coating. A top clear film coating is formed by burning the top clear coating with the burning temperature Tb higher than the flow beginning temperature Tf of a primer coating. The primer coating is a polyvinylidene fluoride/acrylic resin and the top clear coating is a thermosetting resin, such as an acrylic silicone and an acrylic resin as a base.
