<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform truck capable of certainly irradiating the travel direction of the vehicle body and compacting a cover body. <P>SOLUTION: The outer periphery of the side section of a driving mechanism 7 disposed at the tip of the vehicle body 1 is covered with a cylindrical bottom cover 15 fixed to the vehicle body 1, the upper part of the driving mechanism 7 is covered with a top cover 20 fixed to a steering handle 19, and a headlight 21 for irradiating the front side is fixed to the top cover 20. Thus, the headlight 21 rotates following the rotation of the steering handle 19, and can certainly irradiate the travel direction of the vehicle body.
