A method for the preparation of cobalt-containing coatings on aluminium and alloys thereof consists in that anodic treatment is performed at current density of 1-10 A/dm2, formation voltage of 160-220 V. Besides, oxidation is performed at the temperature of solution of 20-25 DEGREE C during 40-60 minutes from electrolyte containing pyrophosphate potassium, cobalt sulfate and sodium hydroxide.
