The proposed random-number generator contains a multichannel unit for generating random bit sequences, which contains, in each channel, a noise signal amplifier, a clipper amplifier, a counting trigger with, an EXCLUSIVE OR logic element, an interface for communication with a personal computer, and additionally, a detector, a comarator, an RS trigger, an AND logic element, and a decoder. The output of the counting trigger is connected to the input of the EXCLUSIVE OR logic element. The input of the detector is conencted to the output of the noise signal generator. The output of the decoder is connected to the reset input of the RS trigger. The present invention allows the reliability of the generator to be enhanced.
