<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming device permitting to exactly and easily position a scanning means for exposing a photoreceptor drum, and allowing a service operator to easily and exactly make a positional correction of the exposing means also in service maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic image forming device is provided with an electrophotographic photoreceptor and the exposing means, and has a plurality of 1st positioning holes arranged on the exposing means or a supporting means thereof, a plurality of positioning holes arranged on the supporting means of the exposing means or a device main body frame, a shaft which is to be engaged in the 1st and 2nd positioning holes to set a relative position between the exposing means and the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and a means for varying the relative position of the exposing means to the photoreceptor by a predetermined value for each hole to be engaged with the shaft, wherein the plurality of 1st positioning holes correspond to the respective 2nd positioning holes, and the relative positions of the plurality of 1st positioning holes differ from those of the plurality of 2nd positioning holes by the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
