PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical stopper of simple structure producing little abrasion powder or the like while providing a relative rotation range exceeding 360°. SOLUTION: This stopper device provided at a rotating shaft part where relative rotation is performed between two members 2, 4 around one rotating shaft 3, regulates the rotation angle of one member 4 to the other member 2. The one member is provided with an abutting piece 26, and the other member 2 is provided with two support members 22, 23 erected with a space. A belt-like elastic body 24 is stretched between the two support members 22, 23, and the abutting piece 26 is allowed to abut on the elastic body 24 to stop the rotation of the one member 4.
