PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for pipe connection capable of firmly connecting pipes regardless of contamination and deformation of inner faces of round pipes to be connected. SOLUTION: The circumference of an approximately central part of a short round pipe having approximately L-shaped engagement notches 3 at its both ends to be engaged with engagement rods 1a, 2a having a diameter insertable to the connected round pipes 1, 2 and mounted inside near end parts of the round pipes, is surrounded by a ring body 5 to fix the ring body to an outer periphery of the short round pipe, small holes 6, 6 are formed on both sides of the short round pipe through the ring body, tip ends of raised parts 7b, 7b of both ends of a horizontal part 7a of a lock member 7 accommodated in the short round pipe are positioned in opposition to the small holes of the short round pipe, and the tip ends of the raised parts of both ends of the lock member can come in and out from the small holes of the short round pipe by a bolt 10 screwed in a screw hole 9 formed on the lock member from a through hole 8 penetrated through the short round pipe from the ring body.
