PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve absorptivity to deflection and vibration of plate glass, while securing positional stability in the vertical and lateral direction and the fore-and-aft direction of the plate glass. SOLUTION: This glass door 1 is assembled by fitting an outer peripheral edge part 2a of the plate glass 2 in a door frame body 2 framed by left and right vertical frames 4 and 5 and upper and lower horizontal frames 6 and 7 for respectively connecting an upper part and a lower part of both the left and right vertical frames 4 and 5. A glass inserting groove 10 extending in the longitudinal direction is respectively arranged on respective inside surfaces of both the left and right vertical frames 4 and 5 and both the upper and lower horizontal frames 6 and 7. An inner bottom surface 10a of the glass inserting groove 10 is provided with a first holding member 11 for holding the outer peripheral edge part 2a of the plate glass 2 in the longitudinal direction, and a pair of front-rear second holding members 14 and 14 for holding both front and rear surfaces of the outer peripheral edge part 2a in the plate glass 2 in the longitudinal direction on both front and rear surfaces of an opening edge part 10b in the glass inserting groove 10.
