PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container, especially a pouch container which is provided with an increased barrier characteristic and which does not easily adsorb a lipo-soluble component such as acetic acid tocophenol (Vitamin E) often contained in the content. SOLUTION: The container is made of a laminate comprising (1) a base material layer having a heat-sealable synthetic resin at least on one face, (2) the first intermediate layer between the base material layer and a barrier layer, (3) the barrier layer, and (4) the second intermediate layer on the barrier layer. One face of the laminate has a heat-sealable synthetic resin layer. The heat-sealable synthetic layer comprises the inside layer of the container, and the thickness of the resin layer is 5-25μm.
