PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp the end of roll paper in a single hand operation alone and easily pull it out and cut by a necessary length. SOLUTION: This holder 15 is provided with a horizontal support shaft 3 supporting the roll paper 17, and the distal end of a cutter support material 11 to be fixed to a wall surface 1 is formed with a cutter 14 wound with a rubber tube 13. The cutter 14 is "positioned in a part lower than a horizontal face X<SB>1</SB>including the horizontal support shaft 3" and "positioned in the outside a vertical contact face Y<SB>1</SB>in a side farther than the wall surface 1 out of the vertical contact faces of the stored roll paper 17" (b). A cutting guide 12 formed in the cutter support material 11 is positioned in the side of the wall face 1 of a tangent Z<SB>2</SB>, whose contact t<SB>2</SB>with the outer circumferential face 19 is positioned in a farther side from the wall side 1 out of tangents drawn from the shaft of the cutter 14 to the outer circumferential face 19 of the roll paper 17 in the side view.
