PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel which can easil record and read information, and to provide a display panel base material and a display panel manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel 30a has a display area 9 and a non-display area provided around the display area 9, and a storage element 1 for electrically recording information therein and antenna wiring 2 connected to the storage element 1, and the storage element 1 is constituted so that information is recorded and read through the antenna wiring 2.
