<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage person counter capable of surely counting persons who take a bus, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The passage person counter has an opening/closing detection means for performing detection when a door provided at an entrance is opened, a passage detection means for detecting objects passing the entrance and outputting detection signals, a measuring means for measuring output time of the detection signals and a counting means for counting the number of passed objects based on the detection signals, and counts the detection signals outputted when passage time of the objects which pass the entrance exceeds predetermined given time at a rate of once in two times when the door at the entrance is in an open state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
