PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a flexible substrate for an optical pickup while reducing the cost of the flexible substrate and to provide a bending structure of the flexible substrate. SOLUTION: A flexible substrate 4 is formed into an approximately E shape in a plane view. A plurality of reinforcing plates 5 is pasted on the surface of the flexible substrate 4. A reinforcing plate 7 is pasted on the surface of a semifixed resistor pasted piece 4b which is projected toward the outside from a bottom side horizontal piece section 4a of the flexible substrate 4 and a semifixed resistor 6 is pasted on the back surface of the semifixed resistor pasted piece 4b. The base section of the semifixed resistor pasted piece 4b is folded back by 180 degrees and the base section of the bottom side horizontal piece section 4a is bend upward by 90 degrees. Thus, the semifixed resistor 6 is vertically taken into a recessed section 5a formed on a reinforcing plate 5A which is pasted onto the vertical piece portion of the approximately E shaped flexible substrate 4 in a vertical direction.
