PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information collecting terminal device capable of finding a desired box accommodating particular objects at the site whereto one should move without requiring extra tasks, labor or time. SOLUTION: The portable information collecting terminal device 10 is fed with the box identification information and box attribute identification information received wirelessly from an electronic tag 20, the room identification information and object identification information specified by the person in working, and the file name of the object image data, and when fed, produces new pieces of object identification information and accumulates them in a memory card MC as the object information. Further the portable information collecting terminal device 10 searches inside the memory card MC using the object sort identification information as the searching conditions when the object sort identification information is specified by the person in working and displays a box-shaped image in a display device 10j on the basis of the box-shaped image data corresponding to the box attribute identification information of the object information sensed.
