<p>An improved balloon inflator unit includes a bypass motor and fan assembly with a fan retained in a fan chamber. The motor is a relatively low wattage motor and produces desired pressures at an inflation nozzle orifice while running relatively quiet. The inflator unit also advantageously communicates with a silencer base.</p>
