<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tag support member for not damaging a data communication performance even when a thin-plate RFID tag is attached onto a metallic material. <P>SOLUTION: When the RFID tag for which radio waves are interposed in data communication is attached onto the metallic material, the data communication is obstructed by the influence of reflected waves by the metallic material or the like. The tag support member 10 of this invention is constituted of a main body part 11, a fixed part 12 and a connection part 13, and by the action of the connection part 13 provided roughly vertically to the main body part 11, the thin-plate RFID tag 2 can be floated from an object 20 to be fixed for the distance of a side 16.
