<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching structure which enables the accurate attachment of a weather strip attached to a door panel or a body panel of an automobile and is provided with a fin section for covering a hole formed in the panel on a molded section, in addition to a sealing function without spoiling its appearance. <P>SOLUTION: This attaching structure of the weather strip is attached to the door panel 1A or the body panel 1B of the automobile, and conceals the hole 1b or an attaching hole 1a formed in the panel 1 by the fin section 4 which is formed on the molded section 3. An insert plate 6 for which a fastening protuberance 7 which protrudes from the fin section 4 is attached to the fin section 4, and an engaging member 8 is freely detachably attached to the fastening protuberance 7.
