<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus which improves the print quality by suppressing the toner pressure rise inside. <P>SOLUTION: The development apparatus 104 is equipped with a toner storage container 101 for toner supply, and toner 120 is replenished to the hopper 105 through the supply hole 104a. A shutter 123 is provided directly under the hole 104a. The shutter 123 moves from under the supply hole 104a to open it when the toner 121 in the hopper 105 becomes less than a predetermined quantity, and moves away to close the hole 104a when the toner is replenished more than the predetermined quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
