PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active vibration-control support device capable of showing the maximum vibration control function by preventing damage when a cylinder resting system of an engine is failed. SOLUTION: When the cylinder resting system is failed and the engine is fixed to the cylinder rest operating condition (steps S1 and S2), operation of the active vibration-control support device is allowed when amplitude of the engine vibration computed on the basis of a crank pulse signal is an allowable value or less (steps S3 and S4), and operation of the active vibration-control support device is inhibited when the amplitude of the engine vibration exceeds the allowable value (steps S3 and S5). Even if the engine is fixed to the cylinder rest operating condition, operation of the active vibration-control support device is not inhibited evenly, and operation of the active vibration-control support device is allowed when engine vibration is small at a degree not to damage the active vibration-control support device.
