The device (10) is assembled of a sliding element (12), a locking bolt (14), a sleeve (16), a pressure spring (18), and a push button (20). The bolt (14) is provided with a wider cylindrical segment (15) at the lower end of its shaft (24) accommodated inside a dead end bore at the lower side of the sliding element (12). The sliding element (12) has a wider lower and a narrow upper part (26) with an outer thread to be joined to the inner thread located at the sleeve (16). The bolt (14) can be released by pressing the button (20) on top of the shaft (24) and moved along a slot in order to adjust the position of two adjacent parts.
