The device comprises a microcontroller module (1) to which the following are connected: a touch-sensitive panel module (2), a liquid crystal display module (3), an oscillator radio module (4), a GPS module (5), a radio communications module (6), a mobility module (7), a temperature and identification module (8), a skin resistivity detection and use sensor module (9), a power supply and battery charger module (10), a differential communication module (11), a GSM/GPRS module (12), an EEPROM memory module (13) and a voice digitization module (14). The device formed by said modules is small in size and can be worn by a person as a watch, pendant, etc. It is used to detect, monitor, locate and provide remote assistance to the wearer of the device, as well as generate help signals or emergency calls by the wearer himself. It is for particular use by people who are in danger of going outside certain geographical limits or by people suffering from memory lapses.
