Method and system for consistency control of application parts of a distributed program application

The method involves having application parts on several different electronic device units connected by communication channels. Data records are made available which concern characteristics of the application parts with a characteristic data production module assigned each device unit. The characteristic data records of the characteristic data production modules are connected to a characteristic data aggregation module. The received characteristic data records are aggregated by the characteristic data aggregation module. The produce from consistency data is based on the aggregated characteristic data records by a consistency data production module. An independent claim is included for a system.
