FIELD: veterinary science. ^ SUBSTANCE: as an antigen one should apply purified chlamydial cultures isolated out of carnivores. As alive donors one should apply bulls. Immunization with chlamydial antigen should be conducted firstly subcutaneously with complete Freund's adjuvant and then - intramuscularly with incomplete Freund's adjuvant at increasing the dosage for 5 ml at all stages of immunization. Blood sampling in animals should be carried out periodically on achieving the titer of specific chlamydial antibodies in donor animals' blood of not less than 1:40 in complement-binding reaction. Immunoglobulins should be isolated due to precipitation with saturated ammonium sulfate solution. To prepare the antigen indicated for immunization it is necessary to apply chlamydial strains isolated obtained out of foxes, polar foxes, dogs and cats. Preparation is sterile, safe for laboratory animals, nonpyrogenic, nonreactogenic for dogs and cats. Moreover, it decreases chlamydial virulence by 53.3% and increases efficiency of therapy by 15.4% at combining conventional therapeutic schemes. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of application. ^ 4 ex, 2 tbl
