<p>The present invention provides a hail blanket (1) for use on multiple types of vehicles. The hail blanket has a single chamber (2) formed between substantially rectangular upper and lower walls (7, 8), at least one of which is shaped in a series of semi-tubular ribs (12). In use, an air pump (3) is utilised to rapidly inflate (or deflate) the hail blanket (1) via a main valve (17). Securing means (20, 21) are provided to secure the hail blanket (1) substantially over at least the upwardly facing surfaces of the vehicle.</p> |
