FORMWORK FOR PRISMATIC COLUMNS

The invention relates to a formwork which includes a tubular core (1) defining an inner prismatic housing (2) and a cylindrical outer surface. The core is lodged in an outer sheath (4) that is likewise cylindrical and which stabilizes the core. The core also includes an impermeable inner tubular lining (6) so that the tubular core (1) can be folded during storage and transportation, thereby notably reducing its volume. The outer sheath (4) has at least one slit (8) enabling it to be mounted on the tubular core (1) when the formwork is to be used without requiring any additional operation except for cinching externally said sheath (4) in order to keep it strangled on the tubular core (1) and maintaining said core properly stabilized in accordance with the prismatic configuration chosen for the column to be built. In another embodiment, the stabilizing sheath of the tubular core (1) is comprised of an envelope (4') made of fiberglass netting or any other textile material. The envelope (4') and the inner envelope (6) are both flexible in order to make it possible to fold the formwork during storage and transportation.
