PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of accurately judging the presence or absence of a heated matter in a heating chamber, properly heating the heated matter, preventing the heating in a non-load state, and preventing the deterioration and damage of components. SOLUTION: In this cooker 1, a temperature of a magnetron 15b is detected by a thermistor 29 in heating the heated matter in a heating chamber by microwaves by driving the magnetron 15b, and a humidity in the heating chamber is detected by a humidity sensor 37. A control part 38 judges the presence or absence of the heated matter in the heating chamber on the basis of the temperature detected by the thermistor 29 and the humidity detected by the humidity sensor 37. For example, the control part 38 stops the microwave heating by judging the absence of the heated matter in the heating chamber when the detected temperature t of the thermistor 29 is more than a set temperature t0, and an output voltage value of the humidity sensor 37 is hardly changed for a specific time from the start of heating.
