PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water and space heater, a bath space heater, and a water and bath space heater capable of preventing the generation of an unburned gas in switching from simultaneous space heating, hot water supplying and bathing use to single heating use. SOLUTION: An indirect heating type hot water supply heat exchanger 4 communicating with a city water line for supplying the hot water is mounted in a can body for heating 1 comprising a burner part for water heating 2 and communicating with a radiator for space heating 7 by a heating circuit A having a circulation pump for space heating 9, and the burner part 2 is burned in maximum to achieve a hot water temperature of a predetermined target temperature in a can body for space heating 1 in simultaneous space heating and hot water supplying use, and the combustion is stopped after a combustion with small fire power is temporarily continued for a specific time, when the hot water supply is stopped from the simultaneously use. As the fire is extinguished after the combustion with small fire power is performed for the specific time, the sudden extinction from the maximum combustion can be prevented, whereby the generation of unburned gas can be prevented, the exhaust smell and the attachment of tar can be surely prevented, and the extinction in a good condition can be achieved for a safe use.
