PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insole where the holding property of a foot is high at the heel and the arch part and cushion property is high at a stepping part. SOLUTION: In the insole, the heel part and the arch part consist of synthetic resin foam formed with high density, and the stepping part consists of synthetic resin foam formed with low density. In the synthetic resin foam formed with high density, its peripheral edge part is raised so that the peripheral edge side of a part where the heel part and the arch part are fitted to each other may form a tilting bank surface. In the synthetic resin foam formed with low density, its stepping part is in the state of a plate. and in the manufacturing method of the insole, the plastic foamed body of high density and low density are used such as the thckness in surface to be jointed of both menbers made the same, after carrying out stacking of the upholstery material to foot contact surface side, press molding is carried out.
