<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillatory wave drive unit that is high in output and efficiency though the unit is small-sized. <P>SOLUTION: Two detection means (D1, D2) that detect oscillating states of oscillators are formed at a place that is symmetrical with respect to a symmetry plane in the oscillator (a flat face passing through the center of the long-side direction and vertical with respect to the long-side direction), and the oscillation of the oscillator is controlled by utilizing the summed signal and the difference signal of the detected signals output from the detection means (D1, D2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
