COLOR PROOF GENERATING SYSTEM, CONTROL APPARATUS, COLOR PROOF GENERATING METHOD, PROGRAM FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM FOR STORING THE PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a color proof with image information attached thereto independently of a size of an image and a size of recording paper by attaching the image information supplied to the proof of the image being a proof object to any position including the rear side of the recording paper on which the image is outputted.

SOLUTION: When a person in charge of an output uses a composite position designation section 23 of a control apparatus 2 to designate any of designation items such as "attachment outside (outer edge of an image output region)", "attachment inside (inner edge of the image output region)", and "rear side (rear side of an image output face)", an image data composite section 24 composes image information data generated by an image information data generating section 22 at a designated position of dot image data outputted from an image data analysis processing section 21 (however, when the "rear side" is designated, the image information data are used for image data for a rear side output) to generate DCP image data. An output control section 25 transmits the DCP image data to a color laser printer 3 together with an output instruction signal.
