PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner improved in rigidity of a motor fitting plate, restricted in the generation of deformation, and restricted in the generation of noise when operating a main body. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a heat exchanger 2 arranged on a main body base 5 opposite to a suction opening 10b, a front plate 6 having a blow-out opening 10a in a front part thereof, a motor 4 for driving a fan 3 arranged opposite to the blow-out opening 10a, and a motor fitting plate 1, which is fixed onto the main body base 5 in a lower end thereof and to which the motor 4 is fitted. A heat exchanger fixing piece 1a for fixing the heat exchanger 2 and a front plate fixing piece 1b to be fixed to the front plate 6 are extended from an upper end of the motor fitting plate 1, and rigidity of the motor fitting plate is thereby reinforced to prevent deformation of the motor fitting plate 1 when carrying products, and the generation of vibration and noise when operating the main body due to deformation of the motor fitting plate 1 and irregularity of a distance between the motor 4 and the heat exchanger 2 can be restricted.
