PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the functions of a processor by raising precision in reproducing signals, increasing the speed of calculation, and reducing arithmetic period and to reduce the cost, concerning a signal processing method for performing the analog conversion of discrete signals and the magnification/reduction of signal intervals. SOLUTION: The signal processing method is one, by which an interpolation processing in the discrete signal interval is performed by the signal processor with the use of a polynomial function which is defined in a finite section. The coefficient of the polynomial function which is effective in one discrete interval of the discrete signal is obtained by the addition/subtraction of a plurality of discrete signals, corresponding to a plurality of sampling intervals which include the effective discrete signal interval. An inter-signal interpolation signal is generated, based on this polynomial function, in making the continuous signal of the discrete signal and enlarging the range of the value of the discrete signal.
