PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer backup system that can prevent a stop of computer processing, reduce the frequency of large volume data transmission to a backup computer and reduce a load on the backup computer. SOLUTION: A transmission part 12d transmits update information in a storage 12 to a storage 22 in a predetermined period and transmits a master DB in the storage 12 to the storage 22 in a period other than the predetermined period. A backup master file update part 22e, if a computer system 1 fails in the predetermined period, updates the master DB transmitted from the transmission part 12d according to the update information transmitted from the transmission part 12d and later updates the master DB according to update command information, or if the computer system 1 fails in the period other than the predetermined period, updates the master DB transmitted from the transmission part 12d according to update command information.
