New cyclodextrin derivatives with modified polysiloxane, useful e.g. in textile washing- or cleaning mediums, cosmetic skin care medium such as deodorants, soaps, body lotions, after shaves and perfumes; and as hair caring agents

Cyclodextrin derivatives (I) with modified polysiloxane (II) are new. Cyclodextrin derivatives (I) with modified polysiloxane (II) of formula (Y-(SiR2-O-)q(SiRL-O-)r(SiRG-O)s-SiR2Y) are new. Y : G, L or R; R : 1-6C alkyl; L : cyclodextrin molecule that is covalently bonded with a hydroxyl group; G (different from L) : organic residue (which has OH, thiol-, amino-, amide-, ester-, polyol-, epoxide-, ether-, carboxyl- or carboic acid anhydride), OH-, thiol or amino; q : 5-1000; r : 0.5-30; and s : 0-100. The groups are arranged in block wise, statistical or random. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the preparation of (I); (2) use of (I) (with active agent binder and/or precipitating agent) in temporary equipment (A) of fibers, where the equipment is non-durable to washing-/cleaning process and removable, and the active agent is an aroma based material; (3) a method of temporary equipment (containing the fiber with active agent binder and/or precipitating agent) comprising contacting the fiber with a composition containing (I) and water; (4) fiber (particularly textile fibers or their related products, or hair) obtained by the method; and (5) a composition, used in the equipment, comprising (I) in a solvent or dispersion medium.
