PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium lending machine capable of improving convenience by a player. SOLUTION: This game medium lending machine is provided with a card insertion port 20h for receiving a card storing valuable information relating to a prescribed value. A card unit 20 transmits and receives CR putout request signals relating to the lending number of tokens equivalent to the valuable information stored in the card between a game machine 1 and the card unit 20 by optical communication on the basis of the card received by the card insertion port 20h.
