<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing controlling method wherein when there is the void of a label piece on a label sheet continuous body for which a plurality of label pieces having various pitches are temporarily fixed to a label sheet of one unit, the label sheet is skipped, and printing is performed on a next label sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The printing section of a label printer is controlled as follows. When the void of a label piece is sensed on the label sheet continuous body for which label pieces having various pitches are temporarily fixed on a support paper, the label sheet is skipped, and printing is performed on a label sheet which is transferred next. When a specified number of label pieces are sensed by a permeation sensor, printing is performed on the label pieces of the label sheet, and at the same time, when even one piece of label pieces is not detected, printing is not performed on the label sheet, and printing is performed when the label sheet which is transferred next is detected to have no void of the label. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
